We recently partnered with Kids For World Peace, Gillman Honda and multiple other local businesses to hold a fundraiser for Rowan Windham, a 3 year old little boy from New Braunfels who suffers from a rare genetic disorder causing him many health problems. He is a little fighter who has already undergone 39 surgeries and takes many medications and special feedings daily. Together we raised $7000.00 to help Rowan and his parents cope with the tremendous financial costs. Everyone enjoyed bbq, games, live music, and a moon bounce. Little Rowan was escorted to the occasion in a limo accompanied by the Selma Fire Department, a group of Bikers and the Kids For World Peace members. We are honored to help people in our community and want to say "THANK YOU" to all who attended and helped Rowan.
We recently helped sponsor Operation ID Me. This free program digitally fingerprinted and photographed children and put their information on portable flash drives for their parent's to keep on hand in the event of an emergency. It was a huge success with over 500 people in attendance and hundreds of children being ID'ed. There were also many safety and health booths to visit at the event.
Thank you to our co-sponsors: State Farm Agent Mark Elder, Kool Guys, Radios FM 92.1 & KGNB, New Braunfels Police, New Braunfels Fire, Walgreens & Chick-Filet-A. Come see us at next year's event.
